• Students who have accepted an offer of admission to start in the summer at Virginia Tech, contact your department about registering for summer classes. Students starting in the fall will register for classes during orientation.

May

• Students who have accepted their offer of admission will be mailed information regarding fall registration and orientation.
• Students who have accepted an offer of admission to start 2nd summer session at Virginia Tech, contact your major department about registering for summer classes.
• Look for Student Programs’ Dining Guide to arrive in May/June. Make dining plan selection online.

June

• Immunization History form must be submitted before starting classes.
• Look for computer specifications to arrive in the mail May/June.

July

• Register for classes while attending Orientation.
• Look for Fall tuition bill notification (mid-July).
• Look for room assignment information from Student Programs to arrive in via email (end of July).

August

• Meet deadline for Fall tuition payment.
• Move-in starts four to five days before classes begin. International students, athletes, and band members may be involved with early move-in dates. (Look for more information from Student Programs)
• Classes begin August 25.
