2009 Transfer Visit Days

We want you to come and see that Virginia Tech is dedicated to providing transfer students with a quality education that builds upon prior academic experience, rather than duplicating it. We have organized three Transfer Visit Days during the months of October and November.

  • Pamplin College of Business
  • College of Science
• November 6
  • College of Agriculture & Life Sciences
  • College of Liberal Arts & Human Sciences
• November 20
  • College of Engineering
  • College of Natural Resources

Participation is free. In order to participate you will need to:

1. Identify which date you should attend. To do this, pick the date when the college that offers your intended major is holding its information session. (i.e. if you are interested in marketing, you should register for October 30 so you can participate in the Pamplin College of Business information session.) For a list of majors by college, visit http://www.admiss.vt.edu/majors/
2. Register online
3. Arrive on campus early so you can obtain a free parking pass
4. Arrive at Burruss Hall at 1:15 p.m. on the Transfer Visit Day for which you registered

Transfer Visit Day Schedule

• 1:30 p.m. - Admissions Information Session
• 2:30 p.m. - Student-led Campus Tour
• 3:30 p.m. - College Information Session
