Business Information Technology
Students of business information technology learn how to apply quantitative techniques and models using computer information technology to solve managerial problems, as well as a logical and scientific approach to managerial decision-making.
There are two options within the department -- computer-based decision support systems and operations management.
- Option I, computer-based decision support systems, educates students in the design, implementation, and use of computerized information technology systems to solve business problems.
- Option II, operations management, educates students in the management, planning and control of operational systems and supply chains in organizations and businesses.
