Horticulture
An art as well as a science, horticulture deals with all aspects of producing and utilizing specialized floral and landscape plants, fruits, and vegetables. Areas of concentration within the major include landscape contracting (design, installation, and maintenance of exterior and interior landscapes), crops (floriculture, fruit, vegetable, and nursery management), science, and education. Demand for graduates, especially in landscape fields, remains high for diverse careers.
