Virginia Tech Lumenhaus kindles solar possibilities
A team of faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students spanning four colleges — the College of Architecture and Urban Studies, the College of Engineering, the Pamplin College of Business, and the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences — has created a solar-powered house for the 2009 U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. Dennis Hong honored among Popular Science's Brilliant 10 of 2009
Dennis Hong, an associate professor with Virginia Tech's College of Engineering, has been named to "Popular Science's" 8th annual Brilliant 10. The annual listing honors top scientists younger than 40 years of age from across the United States. Read more
