Open House Parking

On-campus parking can be tricky, even on the weekends. Here are directions to plenty of hassle-free parking.

Continue past the Visitor Information Center mentioned in the directions to campus, turn left onto Spring Road, left onto Washington Street, and then right onto West Campus Drive.

Please note: parking on the Drillfield is very limited. We recommend driving past the Drillfield (which will be on your right) and turning right onto Perry Street. The parking lots on the right and left sides of Perry St. are available. Follow the balloons and signs to Burruss Hall, which is located on the Drillfield.

Weekday Parking

A visitor parking permit is required when parking on campus Monday through Friday. Visitor permits may be obtained from the Visitor Information Center. Please see the Parking website for more information.

Parking Pointers

You can park in almost any parking place on the weekends, with the following exceptions:

  • metered parking spaces at the University Bookstore (meters elsewhere on campus are generally not enforced on weekends)
  • parking lots marked 24-hour faculty and staff (F/S 24-hour)
  • a designated handicapped parking space without a handicapped permit
